Each Service project is unique. We provide value added solutions to even 1:1 part replacements. Our aim is to optimize costs and value added according to customer requirements. Availability, maintainability and optimized process conditions are key issues in our projects. The environmental performance in our projects is excellent, for example when improving plant efficiency, CO₂ emissions are reduced.

Process improvements

We deliver extensive process improvements such as fluid-bed conversion, in which old boiler burning fossil fuel is converted to environmental friendly fluidized bed combustion. After the conversion, it is possible to use CO₂ neutral fuels such as biomass and recovered fuels. Based on our extensive experience of dozens of conversions, we provide optimized solutions for upgrading your existing boiler. In addition to mechanical change in the boiler, control concept, air distribution, fuel feeding and bottom ash system can be modernized.

Mreal Simpele carried out BFB conversion with following results:

- Wider fuel selection including in addition to peat also bark, forest chips and sludges
